Information for consumers regarding the statutory right of withdrawal for distance and off-premises service contracts.

1. Statutory right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer and conclude a contract with us at a distance, for example by email, website form, telephone or message, or outside business premises, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
2. Withdrawal period
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date of conclusion of the contract.
3. How to exercise the withdrawal right
To exercise your right, inform us with a clear statement of your decision by email or post using the details below. You may use the model wording, but this is not mandatory.
4. Model wording
“I / We hereby withdraw from the contract concluded by me / us for the provision of the following service: [service description], ordered on [date], name and address of consumer(s), date.”
5. Timely dispatch
It is sufficient to send the communication before the withdrawal period expires.
6. Consequences of withdrawal
If you validly withdraw, we will reimburse payments received without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receipt of the notice, using the same payment method unless another method was expressly agreed.
7. Early performance at your request
If you expressly request that we begin before the period expires and later withdraw validly, you must pay an amount proportionate to the part of the service already provided.
8. Loss of the right after full performance
For service contracts, the right may expire after full performance if performance began following your express request and your acknowledgement that the right may be lost once the contract is fully performed.
9. Urgent and date-specific services
For services booked for a specific date or at short notice, including arrival cleaning, attendance, urgent property checks or storm checks, Clauses 7 and 8 apply when early performance is requested.
10. Business customers
This information applies to consumers only. Business customers have no statutory consumer withdrawal right unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
